Emily went to the doctor yesterday for her 1 month checkup. She weighs 11 lbs. 1 oz. and she is around 22 inches long. The doctor said she is in perfect condition. Emily is much more alert these days. She will study faces and smile. I captured a picture of her smiling right before it was time to eat. I suppose she was excited about lunch! She gets that from her mother.

I can't wait to see Emily in person. She is so beautiful! I love this picture of her. I think Eli and Emily both took their love of food after their mothers! They are growing so fast. I wish I could slow the time down. Eli and I will see you next week. We are so excited to meet Emily. Love you guys!
